TrailTent Co. was founded in 2015 by a small group of avid hikers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts who shared a simple yet powerful frustration: too many tents on the market forced a choice between “lightweight but flimsy” or “durable but bulky”—and none quite fit the diverse needs of modern adventurers, from solo backpackers chasing mountain peaks to families picnicking on sunlit beaches.

Our journey began with a single mission: to craft tents that don’t just “work” for the outdoors, but enhance every moment of your trail experience. We started by hitting the trails ourselves—testing prototypes in rain-soaked Pacific Northwest forests, wind-swept Rocky Mountain passes, and scorching coastal beaches—because we believe the best outdoor gear is designed where it’s used.
